For those of you who are proud gun owners and those who are looking at purchasing your first firearm, you probably are already aware of Obama's strong anti-gun ideas. For those who are unaware, Barack Obama has voted anti-gun numerous times, including votes to get rid of semi-automatic firearms, and worst of all not wanting people to even own a firearm for their own personal defense. Just days after the election on a Obama transition website some anti-gun ideas were laid out, http://www.isra.org/. Who knows what else Obama is planning on doing to the rights of American citizens.

what he says and does is different
When the state of legislature IL discovered that a man named Wilmette had essentially charged DeMar for defending his home, several members moved a new law that essentially barred prosecution on handgun bans that arose from incidents of true self-defense. That bill, SB2165, was filed within three weeks of the incident, and took four months to wend its way through the legislature.
On May 25, 2004, the bill finally passed both houses — but without the support of Barack Obama. He voted against SB2165, which didn’t even go so far as to remove the Wilmette handgun ban, but only prevented enforcement in cases of real self-defense. It passed nonetheless, 41-16.
However, the governor vetoed the bill almost three months later, while the legislature was out of session.
Later on.... The DC gun ban “went too far”, as Ob said. Then why did he vote against it??? Please answer me this? Oh wait it's simple what Obama says is different than how he acts.
